Furnished Unfurnished exists because the mid-term rental market is broken in a specific way: tenants pay markups they shouldn't, landlords lose direct contact with their renters, and platforms inject themselves between two parties who actually want to talk to each other.
We don't take booking fees. We don't take commissions. We don't sit between you and your tenant or your landlord. We charge $9.99 a month or $79.99 a year per property. That's the entire business model. We donate ten percent of every subscription to the Nehmiyah Foundation, a 501(c)(3) supporting youth leadership in Ghana and the Philippines. Our books are simple because our promise is simple.

Furnished Unfurnished was born from a simple observation: finding quality mid-term housing shouldn’t be complicated or expensive. Traditional vacation rental platforms weren’t built for extended stays, and their booking fees added unnecessary costs to both landlords and guests.
Today, we are building a marketplace for landlords and guests across the United States, facilitating direct connections for monthly stays. Our team reviews listings, supports our community, and continuously improves the platform based on real user feedback. We’re focused on helping people find and manage housing that fits their lifestyle, budget, and timeline.

Landlord lists a property
Landlords create a listing with photos, pricing, and availability. Each listing goes through a human review before it goes live.
Tenant browses and inquires
Tenants search by city, budget, and move-in date. When they find a match, they send an inquiry directly to the landlord.
They connect directly
Landlord and tenant communicate, agree on terms, and execute a lease directly with each other. We facilitate the introduction, not the transaction.
What makes us different
No booking fees, because we are not a booking platform. Landlords pay a flat monthly subscription per listing ($9.99/mo or $79.99/yr). Tenants pay nothing.
Direct landlord-tenant communication built in. No intermediary relaying messages or adding delays.
Monthly-and-up focus. We are not a vacation rental site. Every listing targets stays of 30 days or longer.
Human review of each listing. Our admin team reviews every new listing before it goes public, so tenants see only real, accurate properties.
