Furnished Unfurnished is a rental marketplace connecting tenants with landlords offering mid-term furnished and unfurnished rentals. Our platform makes it easy to search for properties, contact landlords directly, and secure your next place to stay.
How do I create a tenant account?
Visit our sign-up page and enter your email address. Verify your email through the confirmation link we send you. Then complete your profile with your name, contact information, and any preferences about your rental search.
What information should I include in my profile?
Include your full name, phone number, and a professional photo if possible. Add any relevant information about your rental needs, move-in timeline, and preferences. A complete profile helps landlords get to know you better.
Is creating an account free?
Yes, creating a tenant account on Furnished Unfurnished is completely free. There are no subscription fees or hidden charges for browsing properties or contacting landlords.
How do I contact a landlord?
Once you find a property you're interested in, click the "Contact Landlord" button on the listing. Fill out a short form expressing your interest, and the landlord will receive your inquiry and respond directly.
My home is unlivable due to insurance loss, can I use Furnished Unfurnished for an ALE claim?
Yes. Our mid-term inventory fits Additional Living Expenses (ALE) coverage from a homeowner's or renter's policy after a fire, flood, or other covered loss.
Tell the landlord upfront that rent will be paid (or reimbursed) through your insurance carrier. Most ALE adjusters require an itemized landlord-issued receipt, a signed lease, and a statement that the unit is comparable to your displaced home.
Hold onto every receipt and keep a copy of the lease for your claim file. Furnished Unfurnished does not bill insurance carriers directly. The lease and payment relationship is between you and the landlord.
Are you affiliated with Furnished Finder?
No. Furnished Unfurnished is an independent monthly-plus rental marketplace. We are not replacing Furnished Finder, and we do not own, partner with, or operate as part of it. Landlords can use both platforms for broader exposure.
