How do you verify tenants?
Tenants verify their email at signup and their phone via OTP. Optional identity verification (government ID upload) is rolling out — landlords can see whether a tenant has completed it. Background checks are not part of the platform; landlords typically run their own through services like TransUnion SmartMove.How do you verify landlords?
Landlords verify email + phone, and every published listing is reviewed by our admin team before going fully live. Listings that fail review (missing photos, incorrect addresses, suspected duplicates, or pricing far outside market norms) are returned to draft with feedback.What does the "Verified" badge mean?
A green Verified badge on a profile means the user has completed identity verification — they uploaded a government ID and we confirmed it matches their profile. The badge does not mean the user is endorsed; it just means we have higher confidence in their identity.
